The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. (ELC) has announced the acquisition of By Kilian, the luxury fragrance brand that was founded in 2007 by Kilian Hennessy, who will continue at the helm. A purchase price was not divulged.

This latest high-end fragrance addition to ELC’s portfolio follows last year’s purchases of Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, Rodin Olio Lusso and Le Labo.

By Kilian is sold mostly in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Many of the brand’s products are housed in refillable packaging, including crystal fragrance bottles.
